A bit of info about myself,
I own and operate an electronics repair shop located in Richland, Washington,
specializing in vintage electronics equipment repair. I prefer the old dusty stuff, but I'll fix just about anything.I started working with electronics back in 1971. My dad got me started with old tube radios and TV's. During the 1970's, tube electronics were going to the dump, and transistorized electronics were the thing to have.
Tube electronics were easy to get for free, if you could get your hands on it before it went in the trash.
All growing up I have always liked to fix things. If it was broke I had to fix it! :)

Tube Testers in my shop
The Hickok 539 is one of the best tube testers ever made. I like the 539C because of its ability to test and experiment with vacuum tubes in about every possible way. This valuable tool makes tube circuit design much easier.
I use the Eico 625 for general emissions testing.
